As an Orthodontic Assistant, you will become the backbone of your practice, able to help provide preventative and corrective orthodontic treatments to your patients.
After completing our program as an Orthodontic Assistant you will be familiar with the procedures required to prevent and correct any malalignment or irregularities of your patients teeth, jaws, and face. You will learn different types of orthodontic appliances and procedures that will straighten your patients teeth.

This is a hands-on program designed to give you a comprehensive education, as well as the skills & experience required to succeed as an Orthodontic Assistant. What Will You Learn In Our Orthodontics Assistant Program?
Instrument Indetification & Patient Prep
As a student of our program, you will become familiar with many of the instruments available for orthodontic procedures. Hands-on experience will allow you to become confident in your skills. This will include orthodontic pliers, cheek retractors, band removers, distal end cutters, and more!
Care for & Educate Patients On Orthodontic Appliances
Whether you are working on a fixed, or removeable, appliances, or tying patients with wires and elastics, you will receive a thorough education on how to care for many orthodontic appliances, and learn to educate your patients on how to care for them as well.
Hands-on Experience With Braces
You will also learn how to identify, and provide different braces for your patients. Our hands-on program will give you real world experience with 5 of the main types of braces available today including: Metal Braces, Ceramic Braces, Lingual Braces, Self-ligating braces, and clear aligners like Invisalign.
Front Office Expecations & Documentation
As an Orthodontic Assistant, you will have additional responsibilities when it comes to front office operations, and documentation in patient charts. Our program will prepare you to master these additional tasks, and excel as an Orthodontic Assistant for your practice.
This is an intense, hands-on program designed to give you a comprehensive education, as well as the skills & experience required to succeed as an experienced Orthodontic Assistant. When you graduate from this course, you will have confidence in your ability to perform your duties, conduct orthodontic workups on patients, and positively impact your patients.

Interested in our Orthodontic Assistant program in Goodyear, AZ? The following is required in order to be eligible:
- A valid Government issued ID
- Completion of the Admission Interview
- Completed during your School Tour
- You Must be at least 16 Years of Age (Any students under the age of 18 MUST have written consent from a Parent or Guardian)
- Dental Assistant Experience OR Dental Assistant Schooling.
- Your payment plan must be selected
This program is for academic improvement or use for a dental assistant to improve job opportunities
